thanks guys :D (Big Grin)

joenmelice, i haven't recorded any originals yet, but I'm working on it ;) (Wink)

skynyrddude, I'm using a jackson rr5 with a crate gt212, and my crappy computer mic. not really the pro studio, but it gets the job done

SlashJr, I may record another zakk wylde version with a heavier tone and more harmonics, I wasnt entirely happy with the first one

Sorry for posting again..

but i decided to listen to this again and this is probably the best crazy train full cover on the net.

I can't believe your using a CPU mic to get that tone. Your tone is killer.

When you did the Zakk Wylde version, did you do something special for the pinch harmonics?? I can do Pinch harmonics but on the higher strings their alot harder to do. Like on the G, or D string, their easy as pie to do. But its hard to get it on the A, and E sometimes. Could you leave me a note maybe giving me some tips?? Thanks alot.

ok, will do :D (Big Grin)

its really not incredibly hard once you get it down. The most difficult part is getting them to ring out clearly - its hard to explain, but its important to find the right place to do it on the string. I do it kind of on the neck pickup. And, like most other things, practice is key :) (Smile)

as for being the best cover on the net, I doubt it - go to www.randyrhoads.tk and listen to some of their stuff, some of those guys are crazy! but thanks all the same :D (Big Grin)

i agree with sudsy, its not that hard, crazy train was the first song i ever learned, so i can play it basicly perfectly, remains my favorite song to this day, so im very picky when listeing to crazy train covers.

But this is really good, not the best...solo was pretty good 4 stars! :) (Smile)
